Mike has been an avid phtogorapher for 5 years and has enjoyed every shoot he's taken the camera out on. His first love was for landscapes. From rolling hills to tomato fields, he was always eager to catch the natural beauty of the environment and put it on display for everyone to see.

After moving to San Diego and obtaining his membership to the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, it didn't take long for the raw power and beautfy of natures diverse species to win his heart. Spending more than a once a month average between the two reserves, he's captured the majesty of lions, the beautiful, exotic colors of the peacock, the impressive figure of the gorilla, and everything in between. Every trip is just as exciting as the last.

Mike is people watcher. He's just as content sitting in an out-of-the-way spot in the local park or on the shore, capturing every-day-people doing every-day-things. He believes you find real personality and character in these types of portraits. However, he is interested in getting started in traditional (studio and on-location) portraiture as well. His limits and interests dont stop their, though, and he's enjoyed outings to take pictures of architecture, flora, and many other subjects that you may happen upon in the gallery, so check it out!
